Bangladesh Tourism Board Job Circular 2022, Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB) is the national tourism agency of Bangladesh. Located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, this government board works to promote and expand tourism in Bangladesh and at the same time provides necessary training on tourism nationally. Mr. Md. Mokammel Hossain, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism is currently the Chairman of the Tourism Board and Mr. Jabed Ahmed (Additional Secretary) is the Chief Executive Officer. The Government of Bangladesh passed the ‘National Tourism Policy’ in June 2010 with the aim of promoting and expanding tourism in Bangladesh.
Then on 16 July ‘Bangladesh Tourism Board Act, 2010’ passed. The Bangladesh Tourism Board was established in September of the same year under this Act. At present the head office of the company is located at Agargaon, Dhaka. The company is under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. After the independence of Bangladesh, the issues of civil aviation were under the Ministry of Communications. The issues related to tourism were under the Ministry of Commerce.
